Capabilities

Mass Grading

We lean hard on our GPS capabilities during mass grading. Each one of our scrapers is equipped with an on board screen displaying a 3D model of the site. This allows our operators to avoid overcuts and overfills and move dirt one time all of the time. We also have articulated off road trucks and large excavators to hit the areas scrapers can’t work. With plenty of GPS guided support equipment in the fill areas, we have a well balanced operation to move dirt quickly and properly.

Clearing and Demolition

We have large hydraulic thumb excavators and dozers for clearing heavily wooded sites and demolishing multi level structures and parking lots. We now have the ability to recycle and reuse a variety of materials on and off site. Trees are broken down and chipped into mulch for landscaping and erosion control purposes, and asphalt and concrete are crushed for future aggregate base or select fill sections of the project.

Underground Utilities

We have the ability to self perform all underground utilities such as storm sewer, water lines, and sanitary sewers. We also work closely with another exceptional contractor on many of our sites, who specializes in these same trades.

Erosion Control

We now offer complete erosion control services in house. Machine plowed silt fencing fabric mounted with wood or steel posts, zip ties, and staples, as well as wire reinforced backing options. Waddles, temporary seeding, erosion blankets, check dams, rip-rap and sediment basins just to name a few.

Turn Key Development

Bruce Davis Construction also offers “turn key” development packages. Acting as the general contractor for the site, we self perform the majority of the work and provide supervision and management for the rest. Land clearing, demolition, mass grading, underground utilities, curb and gutter, asphalt or concrete pavement, and even retaining walls, landscaping, seeding and erosion control. The end product is a fully developed property ready for retail construction, all provided by one company.
